Begins his 12th season on the Milwaukee coaching staff and eighth as third base coach.....was named to this role on 11/15/10... Served as first base coach from 2007-10, his first career position on a Major League coaching staff.....named to the role on 11/20/06... Served as minor league outfield and baserunning coordinator from 1992-2006.....was also minor league field coordinator from 2002-06.


Managed at Rookie Ogden (1998-2001) and Rookie Helena (2003, 2005-06) and led his teams to the playoffs in four of his seven seasons, posting a 257-224 (.534) record... Was named 2003 Pioneer League Manager of the Year after leading Helena to a league-best 48-28 mark


The former outfielder played eight seasons in the minor leagues with the White Sox organization (1981-88).


Is married.....wife's name is Marsha... Has a son named Niall and a stepdaughter named Nicole... Graduated from Waukegan West High School, where he was the school's first four-sport letterman, participating in baseball, football, basketball and wrestling... Went on to play baseball at the College of Lake County... Enjoys movies and cooking... Has a dog named Squirt.
