Jeter's Leaders Leadership Conference

Youth leadership programs from across the country joined former Derek Jeter and the Turn 2 Foundation at the University of Illinois at Chicago for the 2016 Jeter's Leaders Leadership Conference presented by Goldman Sachs. Organized and hosted by high school students from the Jeter's Leaders program, the conference kicked off on Monday, Aug. 8, and featured workshops, team-building activities and service work intended to educate, motivate and entertain participants as they continue through high school and prepare to enter college.

"The Jeter's Leaders Leadership Conference brings together some of the brightest students from across the country, empowering them to reach their full potential and make positive change in their communities and beyond. The leadership and maturity these young people have demonstrated, and the hard work they have put into making this a success, are inspiring," said Derek Jeter. "This year's Conference is particularly special to me, as it is part of the Turn 2 Foundation's 20th anniversary. And as we celebrate this milestone and look ahead to the next 20 years, I know these students will build upon our legacy well into the future."
