Jeff Suppan was chased after pitching just 4 1/3 innings, allowing the Phillies to score eight runs on a dozen hits. Jason Kendall was the first Brewers player to reach base, in the third inning, with a triple. NL Rookie of the Year candidate Casey McGehee was 2-for-5 and notched his 22nd RBI in September, which leads the Majors.
