Errors doom Gallardo
Padres 9, Brewers 5
Yovani Gallardo (right) was the victim of four Brewers errors. (Morry Gash/AP)
Once again, the Cubs fell to the Marlins. But once again, the Brewers could not take advantage. Milwaukee made more errors than it had base hits through seven innings -- five to four -- and could not come back despite two home runs from Rickie Weeks and another from Ryan Braun, his 34th.
