The Brewers continued to get stellar starting pitching with another fine effort from Claudio Vargas, and went ahead in the eighth on Geoff Jenkins' RBI single. Jenkins also homered, and Francisco Cordero earned his fifth save in five days as Milwaukee completed the three-game sweep.
