Brewers' single-game tickets to go on sale Feb. 23

MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers will begin selling tickets to individual 2013 home games on Feb. 23 as part of their annual "Arctic Tailgate," the club announced Tuesday while also unveiling a complete promotional schedule.

Single-game tickets will be available beginning at 9 a.m. CT on Feb. 23 via brewers.com and the team's other outlets. For those willing to brave the cold at Miller Park, the seventh Arctic Tailgate will feature Brewers alumni and mascots, plus some bonuses for the first 2,000 frozen fans in line at the stadium box office.

Fans can begin setting up camp at noon CT on Feb. 21 and must conform to the rules once again put in place by the club. The rules are available in the team's official release.

A very limited number of tickets for Opening Day will be available at Miller Park on that morning, and will not be available via phone or the Internet. But through Monday, fans can visit brewers.com and register to be selected to purchase up to four tickets to Opening Day and up to eight tickets to games designated "gold" and "marquee" for the upcoming season.

The promotional schedule is highlighted by 10 all-fan bobbhead days which were previously announced, beginning with outfielder Norichika Aoki on April 7.

Among the team's other promotions:

-- The "5-County, 5-Day Celebration" is set for April 29-May 3. During that time, all residents of Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington and Waukesha counties can purchase tickets at a 50-percent savings on all reserved seats, excluding the Miller Lite Beerpen, all-inclusive areas and the $1 Uecker Seats.

-- "Spring Madness" is from May 20-22 against the Dodgers, with all seats regularly priced at $34 and less available at a savings of 50 percent, again excluding the Miller Lite Beerpen, all-inclusive areas and $1 Uecker Seats. Small Pepsi products and Klement's hot dogs will be $1 each.

-- The team's two tribute nights are back -- Cerveceros Day on Saturday, June 8 vs. Philadelphia, and the Negro Leagues Tribute Night on Saturday, July 20, vs. Miami -- and the Brewers will also host Polish Heritage Day on Sunday, June 23 against the Braves. On those dates, the Brewers will wear special uniforms, including a "Piwowarzy" jersey representing the Polish translation of "Brewers."

-- Little League Night is Tuesday, June 25, as the Brewers open a series against the Chicago Cubs. All Little Leaguers in uniform (registered in advance through local youth leagues) will have the opportunity to parade around the warning track in a pre-game ceremony.

-- On Saturday, July 20, the 15th Annual Brewers Community Foundation 5K Famous Racing Sausages Run/Walk will begin at 8 a.m. CT for runners and 8:15 a.m. for walkers, with proceeds supporting the programs of Brewers Community Foundation.

-- Retro Fridays will be designated for the first home Friday game of every month. They include April 5 vs. Arizona, May 3 vs. St. Louis, June 7 vs. Philadelphia, July 5 vs. the Mets, Aug. 2 vs. Washington and Sept. 13 vs. Cincinnati.

-- U.S. Bank Kids Autograph Saturdays, which is designated for kids 14 and under, will return on select Saturdays throughout the season.
