Brewers sign Crosby to Minor League deal

Former Rookie of the Year shortstop also receives spring invite

The Brewers have agreed to a Minor League contract with shortstop Bobby Crosby with an invitation to Spring Training, the club announced Tuesday.

According to reports, Crosby would receive $800,000 if he makes the team and up to $450,000 in incentives.

Crosby, 33, hasn't played in the Major Leagues since 2010. The 2004 American League Rookie of the Year has played with the A's, Pirates and D-backs and has a .236 career batting average in parts of eight seasons.
