Yost may reconsider bullpen roles
Gagne's struggles lead Brewers manager to play matchups

Gagne, who has blown two one-run leads this week, allowed a leadoff home run to San Diego's Brian Giles on Friday, tying the game at 2. The blow inflated Gagne's ERA to 6.69 and stood as his 11th home run allowed in fewer than 38 innings.
Guillermo Mota, after enduring his own struggles earlier in the season, has meanwhile posted a 0.55 ERA over his past 17 appearances, including 13 straight scoreless outings, and figures to see more high-leverage work.
"We could pitch Eric in the eighth, we could pitch Vill [Carlos Villanueva] in the eighth, [Brian] Shouse in the eighth, depending on lefty matchups, and Mota and [David] Riske, too," said Yost. "We've got options."
Brewers fans showered Gagne with boos on Friday after his latest misstep, though Gagne did escape a jam by keeping the game tied after a no-out double by Luis Rodriguez.
"He gave up the home run and the double after the shock from the home run, but then he limited the damage, and that was huge," Yost said. "[The home runs allowed] are more glaring because they're in one-run games. "
