Brewers announce 2010 Spring Training schedule
Brewers to close exhibition play with games at Miller Park vs. Detroit

The Milwaukee Brewers today announced the Club's 2010 Spring Training schedule, which will begin on Thursday, March 4 against the San Francisco Giants at Scottsdale Stadium. The Brewers will play 32 exhibition games this season, including 16 games at Maryvale Baseball Park and two games at Miller Park in Milwaukee.
The first game at Maryvale will be on Saturday, March 6 vs. San Francisco. The Brewers will play NL Central Division rival and the newest member of the Cactus League, the Cincinnati Reds, for the first time on Sunday, March 7 at home. The Brewers will visit the Reds at Goodyear on St. Patrick's Day, Wednesday, March 17. Another NL Central Division rival, the Chicago Cubs, will visit Maryvale on Friday, March 12 and again on Wednesday, March 31.
The Brewers play four consecutive games at home from Friday, March 19 through Monday, March 22, marking the longest homestand of Spring Training.
The final home game at Maryvale Baseball Park for the Brewers is set for Thursday, April 1 against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Brewers conclude the exhibition schedule with a pair of games against the Detroit Tigers at Miller Park on Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3.
All games at Maryvale Baseball Park are scheduled for 1:05 pm Arizona Time. All road Spring Training games are also scheduled for 1:05 pm Arizona Time, except for Saturday, March 6 at the Rockies (1:10 pm) and Thursday, March 18 at the Rangers (6:05 pm.)
Tickets for the Milwaukee Brewers home Spring Training games will go on sale at 10 am CT on Monday, December 7 via the internet at brewers.com and by phone at 1-800-933-7890. Normal business hours are from 9am - 5pm CST. Sales at the Maryvale Baseball Park Box Office will begin on Monday, February 8, 2010. Tickets are available in four seating areas: Field Box ($21), Infield Reserved ($16), Outfield Reserved ($13) and Lawn Seating ($8). Tickets for the two games at Miller Park vs. Detroit will go on sale at a later date.
