Brewers and Wisconsin State Fair team up to present a special doubleheader for fans and fairgoers
Tickets to doubleheader go on sale Tuesday, April 1

WEST ALLIS, Wis., -- The Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin State Fair have teamed up again in 2008 to provide fans with special ticket savings on admittance to Brewers home games and the Wisconsin State Fair. For just $24, fans who purchase two Terrace Reserved Tickets for one of six select Brewers home games will receive two State Fair Admission tickets, valid for any day throughout the 11-day run of the 2008 Wisconsin State Fair, from July 31-August 10.
Purchasers of the Doubleheader Deal will have the opportunity to "pick a pair and go to the Fair" by choosing from any of the Brewers home games listed below. Tickets for the "4 for $24" Doubleheader Deal will go on sale on Tuesday, April 1 and will be available through July 30, 2008 or while supplies last.
- Monday, April 21 @ 7:05 pm vs. St. Louis Cardinals
- Wednesday, May 28 @ 7:05 pm vs. Atlanta Braves
- Monday, June 2 @ 7:05 pm vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
- Tuesday, July 8 @ 7:05 pm vs. Colorado Rockies
- Monday, August 11 @ 1:05 pm vs. Washington Nationals
- Monday, September 1 @ 1:05 pm vs. New York Mets
"There's no better way to celebrate summer than a visit to the Wisconsin State Fair or by cheering on the Brewers at Miller Park," stated Randy Prasse, Executive Director of Wisconsin State Fair Park. "The doubleheader deal offers Brewers fans and Fairgoers the opportunity to enjoy the best of both experiences for only $24."
"With another exciting season of baseball at Miller Park set to begin, we are pleased to provide fans with this special ticket savings plan with the Wisconsin State Fair," said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers Executive Vice President - Business Operations. "There are six games to choose from, and tickets for many of these dates will likely sell out."
The Brewers FanZone Store retail trailer will pay a visit to the fair again this year, allowing fans the opportunity to purchase their favorite Brewers gear and apparel. The trailer will offer a variety of Brewers merchandise for fans to choose from throughout the Wisconsin State Fair's 11-day run.
The 2008 State Fair presented by U.S. Cellular will take place Thursday, July 31 through Sunday, August, 10.
