Brewers to offer new "Walk-off Wednesdays" promotion
Fans could win an autographed bat from a Brewers player at the FanZone retail store at Miller Park

MILWAUKEE -- At each Wednesday home game throughout the 2007 season, fans will have an opportunity to win an autographed bat from a Brewers player by participating in a unique retail promotion. On the day of the game, fans can purchase (and receive savings off the regular price) a t-shirt of select Brewers players at the FanZone retail store at Miller Park. If the player whose t-shirt was purchased hits a walk-off home run that same day, the fan will receive an autographed bat from that player.
"This is a unique promotion that connects a retail reward to a player's performance on the field," said Brewers Executive Vice President - Business Operations Rick Schlesinger. "We believe this is the first program of its kind in Major League Baseball."
Player t-shirts will be available at Miller Park's main FanZone store and the Kids FanZone store. Fans will have until the bottom of the 4th inning to purchase a player t-shirt and be eligible for the promotion. Fans will receive $5 off their t-shirt for participating in the promotion. Adult t-shirts regularly priced at $25 will be $20 while children's t-shirts will be reduced from $20 to $15.
At the time of purchase of the player t-shirt, fans will fill out a game card designating their selected player t-shirt purchase. This promotion will take place during every Wednesday Brewers game, which includes six day games and seven night games.
