MILWAUKEE -- Fresh off of their regular season debut yesterday, the Klement's World Famous Racing Sausages will jet off to Bristol, Conn., today on the way to star in their first national television ad.

ESPN's award winning "This Is SportsCenter" campaign selected the Sausages to be featured in their latest spot to promote their SportsCenter telecasts and anchors. The spot will be taped today and tomorrow and is expected to hit the air later this summer.

"We're thrilled that the Sausages are being recognized for their many talents, and this is a demonstration of their star power as sports icons," said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers Executive Vice President - Business Operations. "You cannot typecast them as just great athletes. They are truly gifted performers both on and off of the field."

The tentative script calls for the Racing Hot Dog to take the lead role in the spot, with supporting positions for the other three. ESPN SportsCenter Anchor Steve Levy also stars and the setting takes place in ESPN's cafeteria. In the spot, the Hot Dog deals with accusations of cannibalism when he chooses a hot dog as his lunch meal in the ESPN lunch line.
