    Fans heading to Orioles games against the Oakland Athletics on Saturday and Sunday should be aware that the Maryland Department of Transportation's State Highway Administration (SHA) has announced that two lanes of northbound I-95 near MD 100 in Howard County will be temporarily closed, effective Friday, May 6, beginning at 10:00 p.m. until approximately noon on Sunday, May 8.

The winner of the Honorary Bat Girl Contest for the Orioles is CRYSTAL SILINS, who will be recognized in a pregame ceremony at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Sunday, May 8, prior to the Orioles game vs. the Oakland Athletics.

  • Mother's Day weekend celebration highlights Orioles homestand

    The Orioles will open a 10-game homestand on Thursday, April 28, when they host the Chicago White Sox at 7:05 p.m. ET. The homestand will feature several special events including the launch of the Birdland Community Heroes Program and a celebration for Mother's Day weekend including Catch on the Field, recognition of the Orioles' 2016 Honorary Bat Girl, and all Orioles uniformed personnel wearing jerseys with pink Orioles script and caps with a pink cartoon bird in honor of Mother's Day on Sunday, May 8. Additionally, two unique giveaways for the first 10,000 female fans 18 and over will be given out that weekend: an Orioles canvas tote presented by MLB Network (May 7) and a Mother's Day infinity scarf (May 8).
