Omaha dropped a second straight as former Storm Chaser Kevin Kouzmanoff delivered the go-ahead RBI in the 10th. Yordano Ventura fanned six while allowing three runs, seven hits and a walk over 6.0 innings. Everett Teaford held New Orleans scoreless through 3.0 innings before allowing the go-ahead run. Brett Hayes hit a two-run homer in the fourth, giving him five roundtrippers in the series.

The Naturals lost game one vs. their in-state rivals. Ryan Verdugo held the Travelers to one hit over 3.0 scoreless innings. Arkansas plated six runs over the next four innings, including four tallies on three homers. Cheslor Cuthbert was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a walk and a run. Brett Eibner walked twice and scored a pair of runs.
Wilmington Blue Rocks (26-36 2nd half, 59-73 overall)

WP: Andrew Edwards (1-0 with Wilmington, 2-1 overall)
Sam Selman's outing was the story on Saturday at Potomac, though he did not figure in the decision. Selman, a second-round pick in 2012, held the Nats without a hit over 8.0 innings. He retired the first 13 batters before a fifth inning error, allowing two walks on the night while fanning a career-high 11. Potomac's Blake Schwartz tossed 9.0 shutout innings of his own. Yem Prades scored the lone run on a Sam Bates sac fly in the 10th.
Lexington Legends (34-28 2nd half, 67-63 overall)
Greenville 8, Lexington 1

HR: Fred Ford (13)
Lexington allowed three in the first while falling to 1-1 in the series. Starter Matt Murray yielded seven runs (six earned) over 3.2 innings. Clayton Schulz held Greenville to an unearned run through 3.1 innings and Kevin Allen tossed 2.0 scoreless frames. Fred Ford homered in the seventh for Lexington.
Idaho Falls Chukars (13-10 2nd half, 32-29 overall)
Great Falls 7, Idaho Falls 6 (10 innings)
LP: Brent Bonvillain (3-2)
Idaho Falls allowed solo homers in the eighth and ninth, followed by a walk-off single in the 10th. Humberto Arteaga doubled, tripled and drove in four runs for the Chukars. The 19-year old is tied for the league lead with 49 RBI. He's batting .340 (16-for-47) with two home runs and 16 RBI over his last 10 games. Elier Hernandez added two hits and an RBI.
Burlington Royals (27-34)
Burlington 5, Johnson City 4

HR: Andrew Ayers (1), Nic Cuckovich (1 with Burlington, 2 overall)
Nic Cuckovich hit a go-ahead home run in the sixth, lifting Burlington to win in the 2013 home finale. Andrew Ayers hit his first professional homer, a solo shot in the fourth. Sam Lewis tossed 5.0 shutout innings in relief, scattering three hits without a walk. The Royals play three at Bristol (White Sox) and end the year with three at Johnson City.
Surprise Royals (11-13 2nd half, 21-31 overall)
Saturday was an open date for the Surprise Royals. They host the Padres tonight.
