LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Tigers quickly sold out the remaining tickets for their home opener on Saturday morning after single-game tickets for regular-season contests went on sale.
The home opener is always a quick seller on the first day, to the point that the tickets usually go in minutes rather than hours. This year was no exception, with the added incentive of a rematch of last October's American League Championship Series, against the Yankees.
Tickets for all other regular-season games were available as of Saturday afternoon. Tickets can be purchased online at tigers.com, by phone at 866-66-TIGER and in person at the Comerica Park box office.
