The Dodgers announced Thursday that outfielder Scott Van Slyke has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Albuquerque.Van Slyke, 26, made his Major League debut in 2012 and hit .167 (9-for-54) in 27 games, with two home runs and seven RBIs. In eight Minor League seasons with the Dodgers, Van Slyke has hit .290 with 86 home runs and 428 RBIs. Last season, he hit .327 with 18 home runs and 67 RBIs in 95 games at Albuquerque. Van Slyke, son of former Major Leaguer All-Star Andy Van Slyke, was designated for assignment when the Dodgers obtained infielder Skip Schumaker in a trade with the Cardinals on Dec. 12.
