MIL: RHP Dave Bush (4-7, 4.94 ERA)
Bush didn't quite have no-hit stuff on Tuesday, but he was plenty effective in limiting the Braves to four hits and one run in seven innings. Bush has now allowed just two runs and six hits in his past 15 innings. Tuesday's win was his first of the season on the road (1-5). Bush is 4-0 with a 3.55 ERA in four career starts against the D-backs. He last faced them on Aug. 21, 2007, when he allowed two runs on six hits in six innings. He also struck out six in that game. ARI: LHP Doug Davis (2-3, 3.68 ERA)
Davis has shown great command in his last three outings and it's showed up in the results -- he has allowed just four runs in 20 innings over that span. Despite those numbers, he does not have a win to show for it. On Tuesday against the Red Sox, he allowed just one run through seven-plus innings, but reliever Chad Qualls allowed two inherited runners to score in the eighth, plus two of his own and the D-backs wound up losing the game, 5-4. Davis' best pitch is a cut fastball, though he also throws a curveball and changeup.
