White Sox at the plate: Chicago jumped to a 4-1 lead in a third-inning rally sparked by pitcher Javier Vazquez, who singled for the first of his two hits. Alexei Ramirez doubled home the first run of the game, Nick Swisher hit a hanging slider for a two-run double and a fourth run scored two batters later when Brian Anderson's fly ball was lost in the sun. But the White Sox were limited to one hit after Vazquez's fourth-inning single and settled for their first tie when the game was called after 10 innings.

Brewers at the plate: Gabe Gross hit his team-best fourth home run of the spring in the bottom of the first inning, and Mike Cameron hit a three-run home run in the fifth to forge the tie. Including a pair of split-squad games Monday, the Brewers have lost only twice in their last 13 Cactus League games.

White Sox on the mound: Vazquez surrendered both Brewers home runs but Cameron's three-run shot went into the books as unearned after one of two Sox errors. Boone Logan, Matt Thornton, Mike MacDougal and Minor Leaguer Justin Cassel scattered three hits in 5 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Brewers on the mound: Carlos Villanueva started and slogged through his first big inning of the spring, but still logged his scheduled five innings before reaching his pitch count. He surrendered seven hits and three earned runs, boosting his spring ERA to 2.57. Brewers relievers were just as sharp as their White Sox counterparts, as Guillermo Mota, David Riske and Mitch Stetter surrendered one hit and no runs over the final five innings. Stetter struck out four batters in two perfect innings of work.

Cactus League records: White Sox 9-11-1, Brewers 14-6-1.

Up next for the White Sox: The Sox return home Tuesday to face the Padres at Tucson Electric Park. It's a matchup of left-handers as Chicago's John Danks faces San Diego's Wil Ledezma.

Danks owns a 2.00 ERA in his three spring starts but has not pitched in an "A" game since March 8 against the Giants. Danks' last outing fell on Chicago's off-day, so he pitched in a Minor League game, allowing three earned runs on nine hits in five innings.

Up next for the Brewers: Relievers Derrick Turnbow, Salomon Torres and Eric Gagne, who have each made their last two appearances in Minor League camp, will return to Cactus League action Tuesday with an inning apiece against the Angels in Tempe. Jeff Suppan is scheduled to start the game for Milwaukee against Los Angeles left-hander Joe Saunders.

Back at Maryvale Baseball Park, Brewers right-hander Yovani Gallardo is to throw his third round of live batting practice, perhaps the final hurdle before Gallardo pitches in a game. Gallardo underwent knee surgery on Feb. 19 and probably will not be ready to join Milwaukee's rotation until mid-April.
