Mariners at the plate: Seattle took advantage of an error by second baseman Rickie Weeks to plate three unearned runs in the sixth inning to take the lead. First baseman Greg Norton hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning and added a two-run home run in the eighth. Pinch-hitter Matt Tuiasosopo hit a tying, two-run single.

Brewers at the plate: Ryan Braun hit his second spring home run and Rickie Weeks also went deep, but those were the only two hits for Milwaukee in a game that lasted only 2 hours, 11 minutes.

Mariners on the mound: Starter Felix Hernandez surrendered both homers but was otherwise sharp in four innings of work, striking out five. Ryan Feierabend, Jake Woods, Sean White and Cesar Jimenez combined to hold the Brewers hitless over the final five innings.

Brewers on the mound: Ben Sheets continued his strong spring with three scoreless innings. He struck out three and has not allowed any runs on two hits in five Cactus League innings. Late-inning relievers Derrick Turnbow and Eric Gagne pitched a scoreless inning apiece.

Cactus League records: Mariners 4-3, Brewers 4-4.
