What Do You Love About Miller Park?

Over the past few weeks, we've received hundreds of entries filled with thousands of things you love about Miller Park. Then, last week, our judges narrowed them down to six for a final vote - and the results are in!

The grand prize winner of our "What Do You Love About Miller Park?" contest is Bridget from Menasha!

As a childhood Brewers-Pepsi Fan Club member, County Stadium holds a special place in my heart. But it just doesn't hold a candle to the incredible Miller Park! I love bringing my kids to Miller Park and making new memories with them. The excitement in their eyes as they take in the park, the crowd, Bernie Brewer, is priceless. Our favorite is guessing who's going to win the sausage race (I always vote Brat) and of course, eating a brat or two. My daughter had her first Miller Park hot dog this year and dug in with gusto!

What I love about Miller Park is the feeling! It is the feeling of being a part of something big. When you walk into Miller Park, you feel like the fans are part of the team. Kids walk in feeling like they can be one of them someday. You take that feeling home with you when you watch the Brewers on the TV. Your kids take that feeling home with them to the ball fields or their backyards. That feeling you get is that you are part of the Brewers family! We love our Miller Park and our Brew Crew!!

To the tune of the 'Cheers' theme song: Makin' your way to Miller Park today sure does mean a lot. Takin' a break to go tailgate is worth everything you've got. Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go to Milwaukee's favorite game; Where they play in sun or rain. You want to go where the beers are cold and there might be a double play. You want to go see the Brewers win today.

What I love about Miller Park: It's where I get to spend quality time with my Dad. He is my baseball buddy and we have shared a lot of great conversations, laughs, and special moments within the ballpark. For the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of taking him to Opening Day at Miller Park and I hope that the tradition continues for many years to come. I try to attend at least one game per series and no matter where we sit, we get the opportunity to watch America's pastime- rain or shine!

I love coming to Miller Park to root for the Brew Crew. I have been organizing group events for 5th grade Safety Patrols at Miller Park for six years now. This is there favorite fieldtrip of the school year! I also come to Miller Park with my husband every year for our anniversary. The atmosphere is awesome, the staff are great, and the stadium itself is one of the best in the nation. I love spending the day at Miller Park, a place that I love, with the man that I love!

There are so many things that I love about Miller Park including the smells of grilling, the sounds of cheering fans and the ball off the bat, and the sense of community felt by all at the park, but what I really love is how it brings my family together. Every year we plan to get together for one game, when all of us can enjoy a day filled with tailgaiting and baseball, where nothing else matters except being together and sharing the great love we have for the game. What is better than family and Brewers baseball?
