Charities Week

White Sox Charities was established in 2009, this annual campaign serves as the club's annual fundraising and community outreach campaign. The goal of Charities Week is to engage fans attending games and those following along from home through community outreach events featuring current players, auctions, unique fundraising activities and more. Each day highlights a different giving area of White Sox Charities and will feature a community outreach activity and a fundraising event.

Throughout the past six years Charities Week has generated $886,000 through the generous support of White Sox fans. Charities Week 2014 generated over $200,000, below is a glimpse of the week's events.

Comcast SportsNet Ultimate Autograph Auction
Throughout the broadcast, broadcasters Hawk Harrelson and Steve Stone highlighted a variety of unique autographed items that were up for auction. Auction packages ranged from Paul Konerko Head to Toe - a collection of autographed Konerko items, and Farewell to Comiskey - a collection of items from significant moments in Comiskey Park history.

WGN Ultimate Experience Auction
On Saturday night, one-of-a-kind experiences were available for bid in the Ultimate Experience Auction during the WGN broadcast. Experiences included Dinner at Home Plate, watching a Sox game from Jerry Reinsdof's suite, a behind-the-scenes look at the White Sox TV and Radio broadcasts, and hitting lessons with White Sox hitting coach Todd Steverson.

Mystery Baseballs
Fans purchased a mystery baseball box from White Sox wives for just $30. Each box contained a baseball autographed by a current member of the White Sox team.

Prize Wheel
Every fan went home a winner with the White Sox Charities prize wheel. Prizes consisted of autographed photos, game used baseballs, autographed baseballs, White Sox publications and much more.
